RIEJU FACTORY TEAM MAKES A STRONG SHOWING AT FIM ISDE IN SPAIN

The 98th edition of the FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE), the most prestigious event in the enduro calendar, is currently underway in Silleda, Galicia, Spain.

RIEJU is once again prominently featured at this grand event, offering assistance services and MR 6DAYS motorcycle rentals to its diverse international clientele. Customers will benefit from the same level of support provided to the official World EnduroGP team riders of RIEJU FACTORY RACING, which recently clinched the World Enduro Championship in the Women’s class with Mireia Badia.

Key Participants and Aspirations

Badia will compete with the Royal Spanish Motorcycle Federation (RFME) team, vying for the Women’s World Trophy alongside Maria San Miguel, both piloting MR6DAYS motorcycles. Badia enters the competition as a favourite for individual victory in her category. Additionally, Spanish Junior TN Champion Yago Dominguez, also representing the RFME team, will ride an MR6DAYS in pursuit of the Junior World Trophy.

Event Atmosphere and Preparations

The vibrant paddock at Silleda’s “Feria de la Semana Verde” exhibition centre is abuzz with pre-race excitement. At the Team RIEJU Race Service hospitality area, mechanics are applying final touches to the MR 6DAYS motorcycles, whilst riders attend to verifications and inspect the timed special stages.

Opening Ceremony and Competition Schedule

Saturday afternoon will see teams participate in the emotive opening ceremony of the Six Days event, starting from Santiago de Compostela’s Plaza del Obradoiro. The parade of nations will wind through the historic streets near the cathedral.

The intense six-day competition commences on Monday, with countries battling across more than 1,100 km of off-road terrain. Riders will face timed specials and mountain routes, with some days lasting up to nine hours. The event concludes on Saturday with motocross races.

Challenging conditions are anticipated due to adverse weather, resulting in muddy and slippery terrain.
